Ryde Relay moves bikes and cars between cities the personal way. No carrier truck, no transfer yard, no chain of strangers touching your vehicle. One person collects it from your door, drives the whole distance, and puts the keys back in your hand.
A carrier moves cargo. This moves something you care about.
Most people discover the difference the hard way. The two columns below are the same 350 kilometres, handled two ways.
The carrier truck
- Your vehicle is loaded, unloaded and reloaded at transfer yards along the way.
- It waits for the truck to fill before it moves at all.
- Nobody can tell you where it is, only which city it might be near.
- Damage gets discovered at the far end, with nobody to point at.

Tell me the route
Send the pickup address, the drop address, what the vehicle is, and roughly when you need it. A quote comes back the same day, usually within a few hours.

I come to the vehicle
I reach the pickup city and go through the vehicle with whoever is handing it over. Photos from every angle, odometer reading, fuel level, existing scratches. All of it sent to you before anything moves.

The ride
I drive it the whole distance myself. You get location updates through the day. On longer routes there is one overnight halt, and you know exactly where it is parked.

Keys in your hand
We walk around it together at your door. Same photo set, new odometer reading, same fuel level or better. You confirm you are happy, then payment closes.
The number on the dial is the whole agreement.
Everything that could turn into an argument later gets written down before the vehicle moves, and checked again when it arrives. You hold the same record I do.

If something does go wrong on the road, you hear it from me while it is happening, not at the end. That is the part a carrier cannot offer you.
You are handing your keys to a person, so here is the person.
Ryde Relay is one driver, working out of Puducherry. That is a limit and a promise at the same time. It means I cannot move twenty vehicles this week, and it means the person who picks your vehicle up is the person who hands it back.
Before any job I send you my licence and ID. During it you have my number and my location. After it you have a photo record of your vehicle at both ends. Nothing about this arrangement asks you to take my word for anything.

Distances are approximate road distances. Driving time assumes normal conditions and legal speeds, with breaks.
No price list, because no two routes are the same job.
A published per kilometre rate would be a number I would have to walk back the moment I saw your actual route. Instead you get one written quote covering the whole thing, before you commit to anything. If it does not work for you, nothing is lost.

- I still have to get back. Return travel is part of every quote, and it is why one way pricing looks the way it does.

- A fixed date costs a little more than a flexible week.
The things people ask before they trust me with it.
If something you need to know is missing here, call and ask. A question you had to chase is a bad start to handing over a vehicle.
Who actually drives my vehicle?
I do. Not a hired driver, not a contractor, not whoever was free that day. Before pickup I send you my licence and ID so you know exactly who is on the road with your vehicle.
What about insurance while it is on the road?
Your own policy stays in force and needs to be valid for the journey. Most comprehensive policies cover a licensed driver other than the owner, but that is worth confirming with your insurer before we go, and I will ask you to. I carry a valid licence for the vehicle class and share it with you in advance.
What happens if something gets damaged?
Condition is photographed with you at pickup and checked again with you at handover, so there is never a question of what was already there. If something happens while the vehicle is with me, you hear it from me the moment it happens, and we settle it against that record rather than arguing about it afterwards.
How long does it take?
Most routes under about 500 kilometres are done the same day. Longer routes involve one overnight halt, and you know where the vehicle is parked for it. I will give you a realistic window in the quote rather than an optimistic one.
Do I pay in advance?
A part of the amount up front covers fuel, tolls and my travel to reach your vehicle. The balance is due once the vehicle is with you and you have checked it over. Exact terms are written into your quote before anything is booked.
What documents do you need?
Original RC, valid insurance and a current PUC certificate should travel with the vehicle, plus a signed letter from the registered owner authorising me to drive it. If you are not the person handing it over, send me the name and number of whoever is.
What if the vehicle is not roadworthy?
Then this is the wrong service and I will tell you so. If it will not start, is not safe to ride, or has no valid papers, it cannot be driven across a state. I would rather point you to a carrier truck than take money for a job that should not happen.
Can I send luggage or belongings in it?
Small personal items are usually fine. Anything beyond that changes what the trip is, both legally and practically, so tell me up front and I will give you a straight yes or no rather than finding out at pickup.
Do you move cars as well as bikes?
Yes. Scooters, motorcycles and cars. The process is identical, the quote is not.
